We are a group of painters that became better friends during Covid via Zoom classes. We started as a simple Thursday Athenaeum class.

Now, after painting for several years together, we found ourselves cut off by Covid, unable to meet in person. As a result, we saw a glimpse into each other’s homes and shared our lives, health and family events.

In an unpredictable, difficult time we laughed and learned and encouraged each other — like everyone else did, just to get through Covid.

These paintings are evidence of our growth and shared creative energy — then and now. Each painting has a back story, and we hope something you see here will trigger a memory, feeling, or reaction — or even better, a good conversation. It’s what art should do.

A desire to paint brought us together, continues to nourish us — and keeps us connected and grateful.
