Jeff Yeomans is a native Californian, born in Whittier and raised in a family that encouraged creativity and his interest in art.

He has been a sign painter, illustrator, muralist and graphic designer, and spent a decade working in Public Television as an award-winning Art Director in San Diego.

Yeomans cites numerous artists who have influenced his work, from Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimpt, Alphonse Mucha, Joaquin Sorolla, John Singer Sargent, N.C. Wyeth and Frank Frazetta – to Edgar Payne, William Wendt, Wolf Kahn, Richard Diebenkorn and Wayne Theibaud. Workshops with Ken Auster, John Cosby, Sebastian Capella and Ray Roberts, have also helped inform his methods and define his approach to what he paints — and why.
